Residential and Commercial Glass Installer/Glazier

Full-Time; Benefits 

Job Description:

• Installation of thermal units, mirrors, all glass sliding wall partitions, curtain walls, storefront, commercial doors, vinyl windows, patio doors, etc.
• Perform service for commercial doors and residential windows, patio doors and glass
• Performing on-site measurements for quoting
• Loading, transporting, and off-loading materials to job sites and customer’s homes
• Attendance and participation in workplace health & safety training will be mandatory

Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years experience in glazing field, but for the right candidate training will be available
• General construction experience considered an asset
• Must be able to read blueprints and measurements accurately
• Detailed oriented and have the ability to work closely with others, with a team work focused attitude
• Must be reliable, a self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision 

Requirements:

• Must have CSA certified steel-toed safety boots
• Must have a valid G driver’s licence
• Able to lift 50 lbs consistently

Required Education: 

• College or University; trade certificate or equivalent

Required Licenses:

• Valid G Driver’s license (with clean driving record)
• Working At Heights preferred; Will train
• Elevated Platform Certificate preferred; Will train

Required Experience:

• Glazing: 5 years minimum
• General Construction: preferred
