City Window & Glass is a full service commercial glazing contractor. We are a family owned business founded in 1962 and are fully licensed (a City of Hamilton Licensed Contractor), and insured. We furnish and install a full line of aluminum storefronts, curtainwalls, translucent wall systems, entrances, windows and doors as well as Automatic Doors and Access Control Management Systems via our sister company City Automatics (all of our automatic door technicians are AAADM Certified Inspectors). Our project work includes government, educational, institutional, commercial and industrial facilities. We offer our clients single source responsibility by assisting them with product selection, material fabrication and installation. We offer products from a wide range of manufacturers which allow us to have a flexible selection of products to meet your project-specific requirements. We also have the ability to streamline the production of shop drawings with our in-house draftsmen and printing capabilities. This allows the production and printing of your shop drawings to be completed as quickly as possible. Working with local engineers, we are able to produce stamped and sealed shop drawings and full engineering schedules for any project small or large.
With decades of experience, City Window & Glass employs union glaziers (International Union of Painters and Allied Trades Local 1795) to install our finished products. Our tradesmen respect the leadership at each worksite, working with general contractors and other trades. City Window & Glass’ education in the glazier profession and hands on experience ensures we provide services with greatest precision, attention to detail and workmanship of the highest quality and reliability. Our supervisors are integral to the planning, site logistics and staging of the material.
